Come Holy Spirit. Fall fresh on me.

Greetings everyone. We have now entered the longest season of the church year–Pentecost, a time for emphasizing our focus on the Holy Spirit’s presence in the heart, mind, and soul of every believer. As we begin another season of Pentecost, let us look with fresh eyes, fresh hearts, fresh minds, and fresh souls. Whether we have trusted God with our lives or not, all of us will do well to seek God’s guidance for a better way to live.

We pray, “Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in us the fire of your love. Send forth your spirit and we shall be created and you shall renew the face of the earth.” God continues to show us a better way to live day by day. Jesus is the Way.

It is my prayer that God will shake us up and open our hearts and minds to trust God’s direction for us. Together, let us love God by serving others. We are Redeemer Lutheran Church, the Lutheran church founded in 1970, constituted in 1972, and present today as God’s witness in our community, in our state, and throughout the world. We are called, gathered, and sent for the sake of the world. Please pray with me that God will continue to empower us to magnify the love of God shown in Jesus for the sake of the world.

Please pray with me, “Come Holy Spirit. Fall fresh on me.” Amen.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart…”
Proverbs 3:5-6
